Andy Baldwin

Andy studied glass at University of South Australia, ANU Canberra and the Jam Factory in Adelaide. He excels in skilfully blown glass works and has received many awards, including the Australia Council for the Arts, New Work Award.

As a South Australian artist, a major part of his work is influenced from the wildlife of the Mt. Lofty Ranges near his home.

While working in Japan, Andy became fascinated with the use of detail as a significant means of expression and he uses this as the central storytelling element in many of his works.

Andy has been a multiple times finalist in the Ranamok Glass Prize.
