Rebecca studied at the Tasmania School of Arts, University of Tasmania where she gained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons), and Master of Fine Arts (Research).

Her practice crosses the boundaries between art, craft and design to produce sculptures, lights, architectural installations and large-scale public art commissions. She has received many major awards for unique glass and steel sculptures. As a result of her Arts Tasmania Grant, she produced works inspired by her residencies in historic Tasmanian lighthouses.

She was a finalist in the Ranamok Glass Prize in 2008 and her works are held in private collections worldwide and public collections in Tasmania.
